Tony Blair Gets Personal
I was scanning youtube for a clip of the Nixon-Kennedy debates of 1960, the first televised presidential debate, and I somehow come across this clip of Tony Blair. The video was made just before Blair's announcement last May that he would step down as Prime Minister.
Keep in mind the Prime Minister must answer the questions of a rowdy house of commons, I suspect after that taking on the entire internet must be a cake walk.
Examining the evolution and current state of presidential debates is the project. Debate reform is the purpose. Should we throw out the rule book and bring back the Lincoln-Douglas debates? This forum is part of Dr. Danna Walker's Dissident Media class at American University.
